It was just a strong match for a temporary stay in Newcastle upon Tyne with good value. The friendly staff were really helpful when we arrived. Try to avoid the rooms near loud groups to sleep better.

Perfect for Party Goers!
Ideal for our group post-night out! The nearby chip shop was a lifesaver at 3 AM. Clean, functional bathroom, but bring extra blankets—it's colder than you'd expect! If you love a central location, you can't beat it. Just prepare for the quirks!

Staying with my family and three young kids was surprisingly fun! We loved being so close to The Gate, where we enjoyed some lively nights at the bars and even caught a movie. The location is fantastic for exploring Newcastle!
In my wife’s opinion, a bit more space for the kids would be ideal.

We had a lovely stay with the kids, enjoying the comfy beds and that extra socket next to the bed for our chargers. The place offered a great vibe with its chill lounge area and a nice little patio for some fresh air. Just wish there were a few more charging ports for all our devices! 😊

I found the location convenient, just a short walk from the main attractions. The bed was comfortable, which helped after a long day out exploring. It had all the basics needed for a simple stay, and I appreciated the access to luggage storage, making my travels easier.
I felt uneasy due to the lack of staff presence. The room was not well maintained. a shower handle came off while I was using it. There were also issues with cleanliness.

Solo traveler budget friendly
Had a great time at the hostel, staff was really helpful. One night, we all came back late and the receptionist made sure all the noise was kept down so we could get some rest. That's a rarity, trust me.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but still acceptable for what you get.

Not bad for a solo venture
I asked for an extra mirror and got it right away. They let me check out a bit later because my train was in the afternoon. That manager, man, he was a gem, really made it feel like they cared about my stay.
A bit pricey for what you get, but it’s acceptable considering the convenience.

Had a blast with my friends! We hit up the nearby bars in The Gate and caught a movie, perfect for our night out. The location was spot on and check-in was a breeze. Just remember, it's a budget spot, so don't expect luxury. comfy beds and a clean bathroom were all we needed!
We had a bit of noise from other guests, which made sleep tough at times. It was kind of distracting, but we managed to block it out.
